16' lund refurb platform question

Hey guys, quick ? For you regarding the front platform on my. 85' lund project. I removed the very front bench and wanted to put a platform in using bracing underneath, and having the decking also use the. 2nd seat for support. My question is : can I just slide my platform into the front brackets? It almost looks like it will give the platform a slope towards the bow, but then again I've never had this boat in the water. Pics on the entire build to come in a few weeks

Just to clarify, you can't see those seat brackets very well in my pic. But I want to slide the decking into the brackets up front and rest the rest of the platform on the foam filled bench that is tears the bow. Thanks for the input!

I have a 96' Laker and I had my front deck exactly how you describe for years. I worked just fine. I have rebuilt the boat and changed it but if you check out my thread you can see the old deck during the tear down.
