Hello Everyone! So i am looking to put a floor in my v bottom boat and am kinda lost on how i should go about this. I have looked at all the post here and there are so many different ways to do this that is overwhelming. Basically what i would like is to go from the current back seat and follow it back to the transom. Than from the front edge of the back seat come down and than run all the way up to the front seat. From there go up and than run all the way into the bow. I want to be able to put a hatch in the front so that the anchor can be accessed and for a little bit of storage. I was also thinking of putting a hatch in the back of the boat on one side for some more storage and leave the other side open so i can put some fuel in the tank. I have attached pictures of my boat currently and some of when i re-painted and replaced the benches last year. The mods that i did last year were nice but now i would like to be able to take my dog out with me and a flat bottom would make that so much easier. I was wondering if putting spray foam(Great Stuff) all throughout the floor and than putting the carpet wrapped plywood on top with it sitting in the channel that is right about the floor. Is this viable or should i go with the sheat foam insulation and than put plywood on top of that? Thank you in advanced for any advice or help.
