I have taken many peoples advice from this forum so I thought I would give back.
I bought a 1995 OMC boat last year. It had been rewired separate of the existing wiring. They put in new switches on the side and all the old stuff was still in there. I used it last summer but couldnt stand it. A few months ago I ripped it all out and started over. New wiring, removed all old wires, moved the fuel tank forward to balance weight, and moved the console forward for some room while standing during driving, new pumps, changed compartments, some engine work, and the smaller list goes on.
I had my maiden voyage yesterday and all went well.
Thanks to all the topics that helped me with my project!
