1957 PLAZA CRAFT 14' PROJECT

I just picked up a 1957 plaza craft 14' v-bottom. After getting it home i could not wait to start making changes. Here are a few before pics.

Started on the back deck first. I framed it up with compartments for the battery & fuel tank.

Now for a little carpet. Its amazing how carpet can hide all of your mistakes.

Finally got the lids carpeted, and hinges installed. It is starting to take shape. I have a good helper.

The back is finally done. The front seat is temporary, I just want to put the boat on the water and see how it does. Got the motor going and it starts on the first pull. The green seats will have to go, they are just some old seats I had from a previous boat.

I finally got a chance to get the boat on the water. Everything worked great, I just need to build the front deck now. Did manage to catch a few smallmouth. Nothing very big.
