I recently picked up my first aluminum boat I have ever owned. I am wanting to build some storage and set it up for catfishing and crappie fishing. I am wondering if there is anyone out there that has some pictures of their catfish setups. This isn't mine but this is what it looks like. Thanks guys I know there is a ton of knowledge here.

Welcome Aboard !!

is this going to be a tiller steer or remote ?

can't shed any light on catfishing as that is not in my realm of things.

but, I have put together quite the crappie machine for my wife on our 1648.
The live well is in front of the rear pedestal seat. Florida does not have a limit
as to how many rods you can put out. She fishes the 4 rigs in the back
(no, she does not use 8 rods at a time, it just looks cool)
and I just steer the boat and piddle with my casting rig up front.

The whole PVC rig is one piece and is easily installed or removed in less
than 5 minutes with a screw gun.

Maybe you can get a few of your own ideas from this setup.
Good Luck !!

also, visit https://www.crappie.com and you can get some really good
information there as well for fishing for crappie.

That is a nice setup, unfortunately mine is tiller stear. Something like that would be nice up front though. Lightweight and removable, I like that a lot. Thanks for the input.

It is hard to believe that nobody else out there has a setup they are proud of. Lol

Muns, use the search feature of what you are looking for.
there are literally hundreds and hundreds of builds on this
forum of boats used for different purposes. Mine just happens
to be just fun family boating, bass and crappie.

Just get you a cold drink, sit down and watch the news
and surf the net for your catfish killing machine !!

oh - some photos of YOUR boat may help generate some positive feedback.
