1969? SEARS 12 FT SERIAL # QUESTION

Ok so i have spent a while trying to figure out what ever i could about a 12 foot v bottom Sears Boat i bought. The model and serial number tag has been removed or is hiding behind the wooden transom. The only number i have is 1S48F1187 and i got from the boat registration office in Cleveland. It was supposedly registered in the early 80's. Does anyone have anything to add? The reason i ask is i would like to know what size motor and weight limit of boat. Thank you in advance.

I wouldn't go larger than a two stroke 15 hp or a 10 hp 4 stroke. The 4's are a lot heavier. Also, the serial number should be on the title somewhere.
