1975 crestliner overhaul

Well I got this 14ft crestliner for free from my grandparents scavenged parts from work to build a trailer and did some horse trading to get my hands on a 62-63 6 hp Johnson and a 30lb minn Kota trolling motor plus another parts one . After looking at some of the boats on here I've kinda got an idea of why I want front and rear decks with a rod locker some where is a must and more useable starage as this will be my main fishing boat for small lakes and rivers near home .

Nice looking old hull. That six will push it ok as is, but if you start adding weight, it's just going to plow along at displacement speeds.

Ya the 6 er was just a get going motor I'd love to find a 15-20hp
