hey all new to this boat modding stuff, first boat i have ever owned.My plans are having a casting deck in the front and rear and storage next to the console, with storage in the front and rear also...If you have any tips and problems you ran into that could possibly help me out that would be greatly appreciated.
 
Already took out all the old interior.

The things i was wondering about are what type of would should i use, and i took out the styrofoam on the bottom what should i replace it with
 
been doing some reading. Is it true that the foam toys kids use work for the base of my boat as long as they are solid and no hole thru the middle

Some folks use the pool noodles for floatation foam. Under the decking. Others use the foam insulation board sold at lumber yards.
I used the foam board.

Nice boat BTW. 8)
 
Cant go wrong with foam board and no pressure treated wood and you should be good to go!

Try not to make it to heavy with lots of decking but i think youll be fine!

I like the dual consoles!
 
update no pics i have been re-wiring the motor and getting it cleaned up. however did purchase wood and what not so hope by next week i will have the main floor in
 
I got this trolling motor for $15 at a garage sale and buddy has new pedal for $30...for $45 i cant complain

This is just test fitting the wood. Me and my buddy realized we maybe arent the carpenters we thought we were but it looks good and will get the job done

Can't beat that!! Those are good motors too. The Powerdrive, and Powerdrive V2 are the only motors I've ever used with any amount of regularity.
