In January I bought this 1982 Bass Angler with 50hp Johnson, console, 2 trolling motors, trailer and depth finder. Haven't tried the big motor yet but everything else works. I turned the big motor over and it tried to fire but that's all I've done with it.
Started first with getting the boat off the trailer. After the boat was removed I used a 4" wire wheel and removed about 4 coats of paint and surface rust back down to bare metal. After priming and 4 coats of spray paint, new lights the trailer is done.
Now on to the boat. So far I've got it gutted and starting to clean it up. Next step will be to put some water in it and look for leaks.
