1988 Blue Fin 1609 Dominator Restore

Hi All. I am picking up a 1988 Bass Dominator this Friday. She needs a lot of love and a good restore before it is used. I am thinking about putting a new Merc 4-stroke 50hp motor on it. Just thought I would get the rebuild page going now. Here are a few pictures to get started. I will post more Friday after work once i pick her up and start the de-construction process.

Here she is guys. I couldn't wait till today to pick it up so i got it last night. I must say, for $500.00 I think i made out pretty well. the Hull does not leak at all. I will be taking the center floor out today after work and will be installing a new gas tank and re doing some of the wiring. If anyone has advice for this type of boat feel free to chime in.

$500.00 for that package is excellent. With some TLC that is going to be a nice boat. Nice find man.

What a weekend, I know i bought this boat for a restore (and will still be taring it down over the winter after deer season), but I just had to get it on the water this weekend.
