My buddy is helping me with the restoration. First thing we did was rip out all the decks, console, seats, wiring, and plumbing. Next we attacked the waterlogged foam with a sawzall. About 25% of the foam was waterlogged. More concerning, the spray in foam was completely blocking the channels. When we cut it out, water just ran to the back that was trapped by the foam.
Cut off the heavy layer of what looks to be window caulk to find a 3" hole in the corner weld. Luckily one of my friends has a weld shop. Going in for weld repair next week.
Today since I had the livewell out I plumbed all new fittings, pumps, etc. System will have recirculation and pump out using the same pump and a flow rite selector switch (system 5).
Deck framing with aluminum angle is almost complete. As is the wiring. Sprayed the back compartment with truck bed liner. Plan to spray the exposed aluminum the same after the carpeted decks are in. Carpet arriving next week. I'll post more pics tomorrow.
Floor and inside of hatches complete. Carpet arriving soon and then top decks will go on. Wiring routed to fuse box and ready for distribution. Trolling motor installed and wired to a front battery (29 series).
Finally found a steal on a used 25hp with very low hours, picking it up Saturday. Almost there!
