I,ve put a deposit on a 15hp johson (1995), other than trying to find the right color for it ,because the guy that had it before painted it all over, stickers and all I am also doing a search for the original or repro decals(not an easy task so far)The propeller is kinda chewed up,what is the parts intergability on these engines//years,models etc...I,ve got a spare propeller back east that is off a 1979 9.9 evinrude will this fit ,,if not, does someone know what years are interchangable for such parts.... Mike

Can you ask for the model number? If so, it would make this process a lot easier.
 
The model number is J15REOD I dont know if there is a difference between Canadian nos and American nos I do know for a fact that there is for Mercury,s
