I am looking for a source for offset aluminum piano hinges. I need the offset to be on both leafs. I checked the site listed in the material supply thread and they didn't have what I was looking for. Thanks in advance.

Got a pic of the prospective installation?...there may be an easier alternative than trying to source a piano hinge with the correct offset etc...

Hinges are for the hatches in my side boxes. Lids will be supported on 3 sides, I don't want a lip on the hinge side because I don't want the opening any narrower. The offset hinge will act as support for back of hatch.

How thick is the decking?...are you using typical 1/8" marine carpeting?...

...At first glance, looks like mounting the hinges on the cockpit side (instead of the gunnel side) might solve your problem?

Funny. I just put a post up for a very similar need. Try Hardwaresource.com as I got several "full wrap" or "double wrap" offset hinges
