was out today again at the nock by myself this time.
water temp started at 56.5 at 8:30am and ended at 64.3 at 4pm.
a good day all around. had 9 bass, all largemouth, ranging from 1lb up to close to 4 lbs. most were around 2lbs. caught the smaller ones using a butterfly jig in 15-20ft of water off windblown points, bringing it from shallow to deep.
caught a 3lber and the 4lber shallow using tubes on windblown banks in about 6 ft of water on isolated structure.
also had a first, where a decent bass decided to dive under the boat, and i broke off on my trolling motor, which i had running to keep me off the bank. also i probably saw close to 200 carp during the day sunning themselves and eating. a bowfisher/carp fishers paradise. some real torpedos that had to be at least 3 ft long and over 20lbs.
