80's minnkota bow mount 28lb thrust.

for the life of me i can't remember what the model is, it's at my father in law's place. Question:

the "power" microswitch crapped out in the footpedal, we are trying to replace it with another microswitch tomorrow, can these foot controls be interchanged? are old ones still available? Minnkota is closed for the day or I'd be callin them!

I had a mid-80s 28-lb thrust Minn Kota. If I remember correctly the model was the 565.
