Here's my 1987 Lowe Commander 17'6". 70HP Chrysler. Just need a few mor wires and the throttle/shift cables ran, some new trailer lights, and the wood put in (after a trial run). Over all it kept me busy over the winter. A list of what was done,
1. All carpet pulled and never going back.
2. Moved console forward about 18 "
3. Removed rear live well.
4. Pulled all water logged foam front and rear for dry storage.
5. Pulled all wiring and added 2nd fuse bar up front to simplify wiring.
6. New wiring.
7. Finally broke down and decided on the rhino liner (couldn't make up mind)
8. stripped exterior and interior to bare aluminum. (carpet glue can go visit Bin Laden in hell)
9. self etching primer every where.
10. painted it all, (rhino liner way too dark ( a light misting of tan krylon fusion produced perfect shade)
I'm certain there are 122 things I didn't mention, but in the end I have a lot mor floor space and storage to stop all the (crap) from bouncin around the boat. Hopefully 100% by end of night friday so I can get out and enjoy the fruits of labor.
