Well here is my current project. So far i have replaced the carpet and painted boat/trailer. More pics to follow. Any suggestions or advice is greatly accepted.

ty......not bad shape considering its a 93 model. My biggest problem is replacing the console. Cant find one anywhere.

boat is now off trailer to begin pain prep. dk storm gray for the trailer and bright silver metallic for the boat.

I purchased a used AlumaCraft 17 foot this past Sunday. 65HP Mercury Jetfoot. Looks "just like yours" with one exception. My transom has a raised area for the Jetfoot mount. I would love to pick your brain on a few topics. The livewell doesnt seem to function properly. Also, I was wondering if you ever found a better console. I saw one in a new john boat this week... the console was made of the same material that a cooler is made of, with a storage area out front. I have not asked if the console can be purchased w/o the boat! But I plan to! I have not been able to find a better console online so far. But the standard Alumacraft console has not impressed me.

I just picked up the same boat! I know this is an old thread, but that's identical to mine but a little prettier! Ever find a better console?
