Anchor Weight

I also have a "river anchor" that is like a mushroom anchor with sections of the cup cut out, but have not had a chance to compare the two styles for holding power yet. Anybody use this style?

As it stands right now, that's the style I was planning on buying this spring. My brother just bought one a few weeks ago but hasn't had his boat out to test it yet. He doesn't fish in places with much of a current though.
