April 15th Tax Due Date Pushed Back to July 15th

Each state is its own animal, so you'll have to check with the revenue departments of wherever you live, too much constantly changing information to try and keep up on it for everywhere.

The attachment didn't say, but do I have to apply for an extension or are they just generally extending the file date deadline?

There have been subsequent notices, no extensions needed for the IRS to file before July 15th...some states might be lagging or different.

Looks like Calif will follow the Fed's on this.
