G'day from Australia.

Your forum is an excellent resource for many recreational boating enthusiasts and anglers alike.

The detail, time, dedication and effort that each member puts into each project can only be commended.

Every angler is an individual and this is reflected in the creativity and individual style of there boat.

I recently acquired a 3.6m by 1.3m flat bottom boat (punt) or "John Boat" but in Australia we just call them a tinnie or tinny.

My main fishing is estuary river and inland impoundment and rivers. Some places I fish don't have boat ramps so I won't be trailering my boat.

My fishing project specifications are:

-Minimum Weight: I must be able to lift onto the racks of my ute (pick up truck)
-Performance: 20knots cruising speed
-Functional: easy to clean as I will be doing both salt and freshwater fishing
-Safe: No high decks, buoyancy, no sharp edges
-Aesthetics: No paint, clean and simple

An ideas would be appreciated.
