Anyone ever use this rod tote or a similar product? It seems to have good reviews. I'm thinking about buying this and doing some sort of removable mount for it on my boat so that it can also double as a rod holder. Seems like it'll keep my rods organized and easy to maneuver around multiple rods on a tight boat.

Fishing Rod Carrier Tote (made by Sully):
I have a Sully Rod Tote and was looking to buy another one or to modify a duffel bag rod holder to use like I do with the Rod Tote.
I find the rod holder clips on the Rod Tote sized more for freshwater rods but it also needed some work to make it better for what I needed!
I added sheet metal screws to where the support tubes connect to help hold them in place and into the support tubes where they insert into the upper and lower grey plastic supports to help keep it from twisting. Posting some pictures of the the other modifications I did to increase the number of rods it can carry and to optimize it a bit!

Currently working on modifying a duffel bag rod holder and will post some pictures of that one next!

I only have three fishing rods that I use all the time. My rod tote is a modified plastic gun carrying case. I cut the foam where the reels seat.

Also modified fishing rod carrier bag. Made a 2”x2” frame verses 8” cardboard footing tube.

Latest update:
Modified my Sully Mfg. LLC Rod Tote to be more efficient and better secure my fishing rods. Rods would pop out of the original clips when carrying them and when stored on my buddy’s bass boat.
Switched out the original 4 rod clip holders with 5 spring loaded rod holder clips. Mounted the spring clips to a strip of plastic cutting board and mounted it to the rod tote using the flat side of the wall mount clips that came with the rod tote. More secure now and also added a handle.
I place the rod tote next to me and secure it with a Velcro strip to the side of the boat. I can easily select a rod and put it back so they stay neat, protected, organized and at the ready. 🤠🎣👍
