Battery mounting question???

My Batt. for balance is under the deck I built in the bow of my little 12v. I bought a nice plastic battery box for it but when I got everything built the box didn't fit :evil: So I made a bracket to hold it down't tight but it's sitting on bare aluminum. Is this a problem?? should I put it on wood or a rubber mat or something?? Any thoughts??

Not a problem, in fact just about every battery mounted in a vehicle is mounted to metal. Look under your truck battery, or your riding mower battery, of even your boat battery. :mrgreen:

The key is you have something to keep it there? Like a hold down clamp, or strap?
