Boat stability

I am looking into getting a jon boat i want something that will be stable for two guys. It will only go on electric and idle only lakes. I have a 10 ft pelican bass raider and looking to go bigger. Would like to know your thoughts.

Width is the key to stability. I wouldn't want a boat any narrower than 48" if 2 people were to be walking around.
