BPS Jim Morris Signature Reels

got 2 of them for Christmas, one gold and one silver. I love these reels. The gold signature reel is the smoothiest casting reel that I have ever used. I took several casts to get the brake set correct but with a simple texas rig rigged with 5/16 oz bullet weight, red goma hook and a zoom lizard, was casting 75 plus feet every cast, and no backlash minus the one occurrence where my thumb went to bathroom or something. Nice drag, comfortable grips, awesome reel. Very happy with it!

I have three of the silver ones. You can't get a better reel at that price.

The Johnny Morris Elite rods that they had (not sure if they have them this year or not) the ones with the ReCoil guides are great rods too.
I feel like I got much more rod for the $ with it vs the Loomis rods I have.

I have the Gold on a Carrot Stix, and that is one great setup! I have the silver on a BPS extreme i use for stripers, that is also a great setup just a lil heavier.

I have one of the gold ones and I kick myself in the @$$ for just buying one instead of two...
