 Hit the saltwater with my dad and brother. Before we load in, we stop at Dunkin Doughnuts for some coffee and breakfast treats. I get $7.77 back from the cashier. WOW!!! Triple 7's. Right around the corner from the casinos. That brought a smile to my face. I knew it was going to be a good morning. We get in and start throwing plugs up to the sod banks. As we make our way out my dad notices a bunch of gulls diving in the water. He heads for the spot. BAM!!! We start nailing bluefish on topwater plugs. My brother gets some on bucktails a little while later. Ended up with 12 bluefish in the cooler. We had a bunch of blowups and lost some right near the boat. Fun morning!!!! Off the water by 9:00AM.

Top water blues,WTG.
Only ever tried to eat them once.
Tried to barbeque them, found the meat dark and very oily.(never heard about bleeding them)
Barn cats got the most of that meal.

As soon as you catch them slice open the throat and bleed them out. Then fillet and skin. Then cut out the dark meat (use a "v" cut in the fillet) and you are left with nice white fillets that are yummy.

This works best with fish under 20"
