I found these hat shaped framing supports, that I believe were part of a "Costco" type backyard shed.

There is a number stamped on them, and am unsure if they will be corrosive or not...

I don't think they are aluminum, but maybe a stainless steel?

Anyone know by chance?

I did give it a magnet test, and it stuck.

They were only $1 for the bunch so nothing hurt if they wouldn't work.
I was thinking I could use them for the floor in my boat, I think they are about 6' long.

Looks like galvanized steel to me... A magnet will stick to it and it won't rust except where the zinc coating is removed.

So it should be ok, if I screw some of it to my benches, or the floor stringers?

No issues of corrosion from steel and aluminum touching?

wrong....

steel against aluminum is not advised...

that stuff will rust in no time....itll be fine for a couple years at best..

I wouldn't use them as they are pretty flimsy, do a simple load test to see how much effort is required to bend one. The galvanizing is marginal for a shed and I expect they'll rust pretty quickly in a humid marine environment.
