For our annual trip, I rented an RV for the crew and we went back to Happy Day Lodge on Lake Windermere in Ontario, just west of Chapleau.

I took my 85 year old grandfather, my 15 year old cousin, and two of my buddies who haven't fished much and have never done anything like this before.

Due to the dynamics of the group, we didn't catch a ton of fish .... but we sure had a great time. It was really nice to get my grandfather back up North. Who knows if he'll have another opportunity or not.

We fished for walleye, pike, and smallies. Nobody got skunked and we had plenty of fish for a couple fantastic fish fry lunches. The weather was really nice and everyone enjoyed the trip. What more could you ask for?

A very picturesque waterfall that had plenty of smallies hiding underneath

Me in my Sylvan - boat/motor/electronics performed perfectly the whole trip. I love this thing.
