First I would like to thank everyone for such a great site. I am a member of many forums and have never seen such a group of helpful and knowledgable folks.

I have been lurking for a few months now mainly just reading of many great builds. I am very impressed and after reading so many great threads i decided to do my own build. I will post it in a few weeks when i'm done.

Now to the point. If this has been posted before I apologize ahead of time, i searched and searched and could not find a specific answer to my question.

So, if I want to put 4 seperate LED lights on one circuit and each light needs a 1.5 amp fuse protection do i need to put one, 1.5 amp fuse for the entire circuit or do i add up all 4 lights for a total of a 6 amp fuse? Or do i need to wire this differently? Any advice is very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Trailer or boat?
If its going on the trailer... your trucks tow vehicle should have a fused dedicated to trailer lights.
If its on your boat... I'd wire them all in the same circuit and slap a 5amp in there and go with it.

Are you saying that the recommended fuse to use with the lights is a 1.5 amp or that each light draws 1.5 amp? That's going to be the determining factor for what size fuse you need.

I apologize again for not being more clear.

These are cabin lights for the inside of my boat.

I don't know what they draw but each light recommends a 1.5 amp fuse.
