convert a motor to a tiller?

I have a 67 seahorse that I would love to make a tiller motor. Is this possible? Are all tiller handles for johnsons the same if I could find a junk one and take the tiller off of it? Any help would be appreciated.

I am not for sure about interchangable, I had the same issue with a 64 model johnson. I found some nos parts for it but they were high so I just looked the part number up on ebay and found what I needed. https://www.marineengine.com/parts/johnson-evinrude-parts.php enter the year, horse, and model and this will show you a IPL, from there you can get the part #'s and hunt down the parts needed.
