I bit the bullet and bought a brand new boat a few weeks ago. There was just a couple of things that had to be done before I could fish from it. I had to have the trolling motor mounted, and had to have a place to put a pedestal seat. I only have this one picture but it pretty much reveals all that's necessary for this simple mod.

Next up will be installing a cheap sonar and trailer guide-ons, then I'll be ready for a water test.

Congrats on the new tin! Deck looks like it will do the trick. I'd like to see some more pics of your boat when you get a chance. One question for you, is the floor factory installed?

Sure is. When I do my carpet next year I plan on putting some 1/4' plywood down on top of it. The way it is now you can easily lose hooks and sinkers in the gaps around the edges of the floor. I already lost a wing nut to this in the bilge area.
