I noticed the guy's crawdad on here that he done an excellent job on was open up front. On mine under the front bow "step" it is not open. There is a piece of plasctic running down to the floor. I assumed there is styrofoam in there but not sure. Would like to either remove the plastic for storage under there or cut into the plastic face plate and mount trolling motor plug and possibly stereo with speakers. Any ideas?

I don't know man.. I've got a little crawdad here that I found on the river after a big storm we had a while back - the front of the boat has holes in it, and there was No styrofoam... I would think you can cut into the plastic on the inside a little and be alright though... might just want to drill a little hole first and take a peek first to make sure

I had a crawdad (no idea where it is now) the front had the plastic you are talking about. It also had foam That I didn't remove but i did cut out a compartment to hold a tractor battery for my depth finder. If i had it to do again I would remove the foam and plastic and install a tack storage system.

Thanks for the info. I think I will cut into, maybe even remove it all for more storage. I will be fishing out of the front now and partner in the back, bought a new Bulldog trooling motor to mount on the front, so have my new seat. Liked the guy that put the floor in his, but was afraid it would make it to heavy so didn't do that.

When i purchased my crawdad the first year they came out I paid $250 for it new at k mart they throw in a 48 qt coleman cooler and a $50 cash back I got a great deal but the thing I remember the most was the display that showed the boat with 1500 lbs of cinder blocks in it and the boat still floating made me feel safe buying a plastic boat
