Does your trolling motor look like this?!?!?!

It was making some noise and going slow... had some weeds wrapped around it and fishing line. Batteries were ok. Started going and couldn't stop!!!!

Got it back together and it's still making the same noise - Think I'll have any problems?

Does it sound like a vibration noise, can you wiggle the prop shaft at all, My guess is the rear bushing is sloppy...

The noise is coming from the prop side of the motor. I took the prop off and ran the motor with my ear on the casing. It is louder near the prop side. I don't think it's too bad, but I can hear it. I'm sure the sound carries in the water - that's my excuse anyway.

my 1998 12V 30lb MK also makes a loud noise from inside the motor. I think its a bearing or something. I am just waiting until it dies to buy another one..
