Hey Guys,
Great forum here exactly what I was looking for!
I'm rebuilding a 14 foot deep V boat for river fishing and I have all the carpentry done and am starting to run the electrical. What I plan on doing is keeping the battery up front and running the wiring to the back for the TM and Nav lights. I also want to install 2 onboard lights so that each fishermen can flip a switch (Near their seat) and have a light right there for them to work. I was also thinkin of installing a radio but think I might go the handheld route. My question is do you guys have any ideas for what I can use as a control panel to supply power to the nav lights, or TM or fishfinder via a master control panel or is their a box I can buy that is all wired up just hook up the wires internally thats all waterproof. Basically like a console without the steering wheel and speedometer?
I was building a box like 5 X 5 X 20 that I was gonna install all the electrical things ( Basically a battery meter, nav lights, TM control, fish finder and 2 onboard lights) on and use some kind of quick disconnect so I could remove the box with the controls at the end of the day.
Thanks for any ideas
