I am thinking about buying this battery to run my 55 lb thrust Minn-Kota Traxxis on a 14 ft v hull. The book let states to run the motor you should buy a battery with at least 115 amps. I just want to make sure that this is a proper battery. A local sore just got these in and are selling for $69 with a 12 month warranty. The motor is my only means of propulsion.

These batteries are designed to provide continuous operating time to run trolling motors, live wells, inverters, depth/fish finders, etc. They can be discharged and recharged many times without damaging the internal components of the battery.
