This lure and many others I cast have this color pattern:
chartreuse/ black/ orange

Note: I used Spike-It dye to color white and translucent chartreuse plastic grubs.
Coincidental is that the colors are the colors of a yellow perch.
All species of fish strike lures with that color combo so, if it ain't broke, ........
The other thing I rediscovered was the tailless grub body shown above. Last week fish jumped all over it in two sizes: 1" and 1.5" rigged on a 1/32 oz jig/ #6 hook. I just found a photo of it being used with a Beetle Spin after a fish bit off the tail. It caught fish!
