Finally done upgrading for now.

The boat is a new to me 1996 1542 Alweld. I bought it used but in great condition. The previous owner made the floors. I added the foam, electronics, trolling motor, rod mounts, seats, etc. I'm pretty happy! This is a ton more room than my plastic SunDolphin had!

My only issue for now is the motor needs a water pump/impeller. The parts are ordered and should be here tomorrow.

That's actually my little portable cooler for drinks. The cleats and bungee came from Lowe's.

I'll do that. Unfortunately, I had a little surgery two weeks ago that makes sitting kind of tender. But I'm hoping to test it out this week.

Work kind of kept me busy and then a couple of vacations. I finally got the boat out on the water yesterday and it's so much nicer than that plastic SunDolphin I was using! I am going to enjoy fishing out of this boat! Everything worked as it should, with the exception of a minor motor issue that I am hoping will be fixed tomorrow.
