The caster wheels on the trailer is a bad idea - you will get dents and leaking rivets in no time.
Some neat ideas there though.

Thanks for posting. Nice project. Try lowering your tailgate while backing if your trailer allows. Much easier to see (unless you have a bed cover).

That looks like a big battery! Make sure you don't over charge it.

You showed a great way to stretch a dollar. Walmart and Amazon definitely have some bargains. No need to spend a fortune. Glad to see some time with your son.

If you ever get your anchor stuck in the rocks, that steel anchor line will be a problem. With a rope line, you can cut it to get yourself free but the steel line will keep you attached to the bottom.

I think you jinxed me. Took the boat out last night in the Shenandoah River and the anchor got stuck. Had to cut the cable
