I just picked the boat up yesterday and starting cleaning it. Wanting a front deck to cover the middle seat up, and the boat is pretty old and someone has covered every rivet it seems like with epoxy. Have been reading to use steelflex on here. Any precautions I should take? Should it suit the trailer too? If anyone has a start to drafting a design for this deck would be greatly appreciated.

Looking at that narrow, tapered bow, I'd imagine adding a deck would make for a very tippy boat. Try just standing on the front seat while the boat is in the water first. See if you can move around. Wear a lifejacket, too.

Anything can be built, but it would be best to find out if the final product is worth your time, expense and effort.

Just got off the water doing just that, and I am going to move forward with the build it wasn't too bad. I believe the extra weight and foam additions will help even more. Right?
