I found a creek with a warm water discharge, and hit it up on friday and couldnt hook anything in the mouth. But I did snag into about 5 gizzard shads. I slipped back out this morning and landed 6 large mouths and a couple crappie and bluegills. I threw the kitchen sink at em and only found one bait to be productive, which was a count down rap, size 5, only the black/silver color was gettin hit.

cold water fishin at it's best!

You know it's cold outside when you stick your hands in 45* water to warm them up...

WTG man - that is some hardcore fishing at its finest

I bet you can make hit a Rico popper if you try really really hard

My ricos just got put away a month ago (well end of nov) they still need to cool off some more before they're ready again. however it wouldnt suprise me if they make there way back in my box by the end of feb.

Very nice, what was the air temp?
The air temp started around 28, but was in the 30's by the time I left, the water was probably closer to 45-50, possibly higher closer to the discharge.
