So, what can you guys tell me about the 12ft Foremost boat I bought. It's a semi-V aluminum job, that looks like it was probably made in the 60's-70's. The guy I bought it from said it was an old Lund boat, but it didn't have any stickers on it. So, I thought ok, it probably is. Well, after working off the old backing of where the old sticker was, I could see in the old glue the outline of the word "Foremost". So, it wasn't exactly what the guy said, and I only paid about $400 for it, which is probably quite a bit high. I'm guessing it was probably only worth maybe $300 at best. However the boat is in good condition, very sturdy, and will look good with a new paint job.

Outside of that, I have no idea of the quality of this old brand name. Anyone have any info?

Yes, I found that thread. I am certain it's the same brand. Foremost, from what I know was a brand name sold by JCPenney back in the 60's an70's. However, JCPenney did not manufacture boats. The guy who bought the boat, and sold it to me, said the bill of sale stated it was a Lund boat. Yet, I figured out the decal said Foremost. What I am thinking is that Lund may have made the boats for JCPenney, and they were labeled Foremost as JCPenney's brand name. Sort of like Cabela's has their own brand name stuff, but it's all made by other manufacturers.

I already sanded and gave it a coat of paint. I may post some pics of it when I'm done. It looks identical to the guy in the link above who installed some raised decking in his.

Same issue with my boat. Mine is a 1961 Montgomery Wards Sea King model PDUT-14 by title but it turns out to be an Arkansas Traveler labeled and manufactured by Rebco a division of Southwest MFG. CO ( parent company of Arkansas Traveler ). After quite a bit of research my PDUT-14 turns out to be the exact same boat as an Arkansas Traveler DUT-14. It is more than likely that your boat was actually built by Lund. This was a common thing for the big retailers to do back then as I don't think any of them actually manufactured their own boats.
