Fresh Blood on Fresh Paint

Poled the boat around yesterday trying to catch some fish of the Esox genus (since they don't mind the cold too much). I was also on the lookout for woodie holes. To my surprise, I snuck up on a group of mallards way back. I eased out and came back this morning and got a few. Public water. My first mallards.

Can you guess which one needed a second shot? :lol:

All toes accounted for (SCWA clips the dew claw of their release mallards so it's not as blatant to the "hunters" that pay to shoot tame birds :evil: )

Great job on the mallards. Congrats on your 1st too. Just got back from hunting this morning myself.

That is really cool!!!!!!! Would like to try duck hunting sometime but I'm afraid if I did, I'd really like it and I might not be married to much longer. I deer hunt and fish way to much as it is.
