ok guys i want to see how your riged a front seat on your jon boat

Not exactly sure what you are asking for but here is mine. I have a realy tall bike/tournament style seat. Had to add a 6" hatch to access the underside to add supports and bolts. It's not a great picture, but I already had it on my computer.

Uhhhh... either Cabela's or BPS. Can't remember which. Bought stuff from both places.

I like the thin-width method like poolie's also, but whatever method you choose, I would ensure (if possible to get under the deck) to use large fender washers or a backing plate on the under-side. The fender washers/backing plate will assist in the screws/bolts not pulling through, and also deck flexing if it's a thin metal deck.
