Gauge?

Hey guys haven't wire started my project yet but hopefully soon. Im lookin at running the nav lights and probably 1 or 2 spotlights for night fishing also a ff and a bilge pump was just wandering what visage wire I should use? That's for your time and advice once again

16ga should do you just fine if you are running less than 7.5 amps. Don't forget to fuse it

2sac is right 18G would work fine for under 8 amps. However you will find 14awg or 12awg wire easier to work with and less prone to problems. If it were me i would use a little bigger wire, not because i needed it but because the pros out weigh the cons.

thanks guys for your time as always very informative I know enough to be able to wire it but never really learned anything about the gauge of the wire most of my experience is with residential wiring so this is gonna be new to me. I do know to use fuses and used tinned wire. Thanks for the advice again
