Gluvit epoxy

So I ordered some Gluvit epoxy and when I opened the can it was only half full. Is this how it should be? Just checking to see if this is normal. The stuff isn't cheap...
Its the first time I have ever used it.

Seems right, Mine was similar. It was just over half full.

You need room to mix in the second component. Most two part coatings are sold by quantity, such as a gallon which means two gallon cans each half full to allow mixing.

Did you receive the second container, which is the catalyst? If so, i catalyst is mixed in this can, hence, why it is 1/2 full. If not, then you only received 1/2 the product.

I agree....it is NOT cheap! Therefore, only mix what you need according to mixing ratios, which if I recall, is 5:1 (resin:catalyst).

Yes, I received the two containers. I was just stumped when I opened the can.. I thought they had run out epoxy and sent me what they had left lol
