please guess a weight my buddie saying these weigh 5lbs i think he is crazy

I would say the one on the left is between 5-6 pounds and the one on the right is between 6-7 pounds.

It's tough to tell just from a picture. I say they are 7 and 8, but it could be a few pounds off either way.

And for you guys who don't travel with a tape cut a piece of fishing line. Cut 1 for the Length and 1 for the Girth then measure it when you get home and put the measurements into my handy dandy Bass Calculator, hit calculate and presto you have a good estimation of the weight. Just be sure not to get the strings mixed up #-o

Here is a legitimate (checked on two $30 scales :LOL2 5 pound 12 ounce fish.

Both those fish are bigger than this Mass Hawg!
