Newbee here...

Would like to know if I take 2/3 out of my rear seat, leaving the remaining third as a small bench to mount a swivel seat on (doing this for legroom only, and eliminate straddling the original bench), will it affect the rigidity of the boat?? I looked in the forum but couldn't find an answer.

post a picture of your boat. Add your location to the profile.

Most likely the removal of a seat will affect the boat, but you can build some supports to fix it. Welcome to the board and keep searching!
