Here is what me and a buddy had come up with instead of cutting holes in a your boat.
This is ran off of a 12v plug but
You can use a trail cam battery or a wheel chair battery for battery's plus and charge it at home if you want to run it in a boat with no battery.

Is it still a cooler or strictly a radio, now?

I use it as dry storage but you can can seal then off and use one side for radio and one for the cooler
