Looking to put a floor in my sea nymph v bottom I have seen a few post where guys use 2x2s my question is how do you go about keeping the top of 2x flat and level when thr boat has a contour? R u cutting the bottom at angle to match boat?

Check this build, he shows how he leveled his floor. If you use wood just cut the ends to match contour of your hull.

Check the link on the 1959 model below my signature and go to page 3 or 4, as I recall. Removeable, carpeted, and very stable flooring with minimal woodworking. Works for me, going on two years now.

The '55 link has a variation and has worked well so far, and even more light-weight.

Consider them decking for the non-handy man. :)

Have fun.
