I'm looking for some aluminum gunnel/gunwale/gunwhale cap

I have seen some in the "canoe" outfitters that seems a bit flimsier than what I am looking for, so if anyone has had the pleasure of replacing their gunwale top trim and knows where to find some stock, I'm all ears.

Try Grainger or Metal Mart for aluminum, channel or extrusions.
