Installing drain plug

I have a 1960 Brewster 14 ft flat both
That came from the factory without a drain plug. Now what I'm wondering is if installing one is as easy as drilling a hole in the rear and putting a plug in? I just need some guidence. Thank you

no, it's not that simple, but i don't think it's a difficult endeavor. If you choose to fabricate one, I'm sure you can drill a hole towards the bottom and weld a piece of aluminum tubing. Just be sure the tubing is the right diameter that will fit the drain plug.

Just be sure you seal it around the hole and where the screw/bolt holes are. 3M 5200 sealant is my recommendation.
